Astro Boy

The Astro Boy range: the Face design across tees, socks and pins, plus Flight, Classic, Cosmic and the manga-era prints.

Astro Boy has one of the most reproducible faces in comics, and the officially licensed Astro Boy t shirts here keep coming back to it. The Astro Boy Face T-Shirt is the best-seller and the design most of this collection is built around. Half Robot is second, and the Face Socks come third, ahead of every other tee in the range. The rest of the Astro Boy merch runs from pins and totes through to hoodies and long sleeves.

The Face design, in every format

Face behaves like a logo, so it carries the widest set of formats. Past the tee there is the oversized tee, the hoodie, the sweatshirt, the long sleeve, the crop tee and a kids tee. Off the garment it becomes an enamel pin, a tote bag and a mug. There is also a Mini Print T-Shirt for anyone who wants the character at a quieter scale.

Flight, Classic and the manga prints

Astro Boy Flight is the second design family, and it repeats as an enamel pin, a tote bag and an air freshener. Classic and Vintage are the straight ones, and Black and White takes the colour out. The manga-era prints are where the range gets interesting: Manga Story on a tee and an oversized tee, the Magazine print in both a standard and an oversized cut, then Cosmic, Head Data and Electric Shock.

Fits and sizes

Standard tees are combed cotton in a regular fit, XS to 4XL. The oversized tees are 275gsm heavyweight with a boxy body and a dropped shoulder, so size down for a neater line, and the hoodie and sweatshirt carry the same artwork at winter weight. The air freshener is the smallest thing in the range and the only one you hang off a mirror. The rest of our licensed range is in Licensed Collabs.

FAQ

Are these official Astro Boy shirts? Yes, every design in this collection sits under licence, and the artwork is original instead of lifted off a frame of the show.

Is Astro Boy the first anime? It is the series usually credited with starting the form, which is why the manga-era prints sit beside the modern ones here.
